These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by Hilink Technologies (Private) Limited ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our services, including our APIs, platform, and website, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using any part of the Hilink Technologies platform — including but not limited to submitting transactions, using our API services, registering as a merchant, or browsing our website — you agree to comply with and be legally bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.
2. Definitions
Platform: The digital infrastructure and APIs operated by Hilink Technologies for payment gateway and technology services.
User: Any individual or entity using the platform, including customers and merchants.
Merchant: A business or individual registered with Hilink Technologies to use our API or gateway services.
Customer: End users who interact with a merchant and whose transactions pass through our system.
Services: All services provided by Hilink Technologies, including API access, payment processing, and merchant dashboards.
3. User Responsibilities
Users must provide accurate and complete information during registration and usage.
Users must not use our platform for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activities.
Merchants must comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and payment service guidelines.
4. Platform Responsibilities
Hilink Technologies will take reasonable steps to ensure platform uptime and security.
We will facilitate transaction routing, status updates, settlements, and refund mechanisms according to published policies.
5. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Hilink Technologies is not responsible for:
Merchant delivery failures or service disputes
Failures of third-party services (banks, wallets, or processors)
Indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages
Our liability is limited to the transaction amount in dispute or PKR 10,000, whichever is lower.
6. Termination of Access
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to our services at any time, with or without notice, for violations of these Terms or suspicious activities.
7. Force Majeure
Hilink Technologies is not liable for delays or service failures caused by circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, cyberattacks, internet outages, or government restrictions.
8. Cookies & Tracking Policy
We may use cookies and tracking tools to enhance user experience and analyze traffic.
Types of Technologies Used:
Essential Cookies: Required for platform functionality and security.
Performance Cookies: Used to analyze system performance and optimize operations.
Analytics Tools: Tools like Google Analytics or Meta Pixel may be used to monitor usage patterns.
By using our site, you consent to the use of these technologies.
9. API Usage Policy
This section applies to merchants and developers integrating with our API.
Permitted Use
APIs may only be used for approved business activities as defined during onboarding.
Fair Usage
Each merchant is assigned TPS (Transactions Per Second) limits and daily usage quotas. Attempts to bypass limits are prohibited.
Prohibited Activities
You may not use our APIs for:
Money laundering, terrorist financing, or any illegal purpose
Unauthorized scraping, probing, or flooding
Routing funds to unapproved accounts
Abusing or manipulating platform systems
Security Obligations
Merchants must protect their API keys and immediately report any suspected compromise.
Suspension or Termination
We may throttle, suspend, or permanently revoke access for violations, misuse, or security risks.
Audit Rights
Hilink Technologies reserves the right to audit API activity and logs for compliance.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Any disputes shall fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of Pakistani courts.
11. Amendments
Hilink Technologies may modify these Terms at any time. Users will be notified through email or platform alerts. Continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
